Over the past five years, Nikaela has worked in a variety of areas during training and as a solicitor, including immigration and family. Nikaela also worked in a legal and policy advocacy role for a leading children’s rights NGO. Today, Nikaela works in civil litigation and judicial review at Connolly Finan Fleming. 

Nikaela is a member of FLAC and also part of a team for the Irish civil shadow reporting process under the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.   When not working with clients, Nikaela enjoys yoga, being outside, traveling, and music. She also plays both the clarinet and the piano.  

Nikaela Rusk holds as Bachelor of Civil Law from NUI Galway and a Master’s/LLM in Child and Family Law from UCC. Nikaela qualified as a Solicitor in 2018 and has undertaken the FE1’s and professional practice courses at the Law Society of Ireland.
